The Coronavirus outbreak is bringing unprecedented changes in work culture across the world. As a result, many companies around the globe have rolled out mandatory work from home policies amid the spread of COVID-19. E-commerce maestro Amazon, tech giants Google and Microsoft as well as automobile elites such as Ford are some of the noteworthy names in this cluster of companies. Social media company Twitter went one step further by allowing its employees who can work from home to do so ‘forever’. World Health Organisation  has hinted that Coronavirus may not be leaving soon and we have to live with it for several years to come. Many countries across the world are even thinking to tweak labor laws to engage more employees to work from home to contain the spread of the outbreak. An estimate says that at least 4.3 million IT workers or half the sector’s workforce in India would work from home permanently.
